Dr. McMahon leads a weekly Peer Consultation Group to discuss VR therapy cases and issues via Zoom. Cases can include all aspects of virtual reality therapy, not just needle phobia or anxiety disorders. This free group should meet continued professional development (CPD) requirements for psychologists in California and other states.
Zoom meetings are held on alternating Thursdays and Saturdays. Advanced registration is required for each session. Participation is a two-step process:
- Enroll for the series to receive e-mail notices for scheduled sessions. This Group will appear in your Library and includes a schedule of specific dates/times.
- Sign-up for the specific webinars that work for you by clicking the link in the schedule. A Zoom link will be provided in the e-mail confirming your registration.
Please register at least 24 hours in advance for each session. Attendance at each session is limited and sign-up is first come, first serve.
Peer group agenda includes introductions to see who is on the call, brief case summaries, and discussion of specific issues raised by participants.
Please discuss cases without revealing client identities or other protected health information (PHI) as defined by relevant laws.
Peer Consultation Group members are also enrolled in our VR Therapists Community. The Community will also appear in your Library
VR Therapy Peer Consultation Group is free but participation is limited to licensed mental health professionals and supervised trainees.
